Default county and city boundaries are provided
A 5-digit ZIP code may cross multiple counties or cities. Furthermore, your location may be inside or outside legal city boundaries affecting license jurisdiction. We solve this problem by using defaults - based on population - that pinpoint the most probable county and city and inside/outside city boundaries. -
Geo-Coding
A mechanism to pinpoint any location in the U.S. as to which licensing authorities have jurisdiction. Using a 5-digit ZIP code, even with our defaults, as defined above, is not fool proof, since defaults offer only probability. Our Geo-coding works with your 9-digit ZIP code and pinpoints your exact location, without any ambiguities. This results in knowing exactly which authorities administer licenses & permits in your location.
