What is the cost to use your services? Do you cover every municipality in the U.S.?
Q. What services do you offer? A. Our website enables you to find, fill, and submit license & permit applications, on all governmental levels, online. Read more... A. Please click here for the pricing. Q. How can I find out which licenses I need to file? A. Once you choose a location, all available license and permit applications for that location will be displayed. While we do not purport to be a consulting service, our system goes a long way in helping you determine your licenses & permits. Q. Do you cover every municipality in the U.S.? A. We currently cover federal, all states, all counties, and those municipalities with a population of at least 10,000 residents. Coverage of municipalities with less than 10,000 residents is sparse as of yet but is growing daily. Our goal is to cover all municipalities, regardless of size. Subscribers however, receive custom coverage of all their locations. Q. Do you cover every license and permit in the U.S.? A. We currently cover only business licenses. We do not currently cover professional, regulatory, hazardous material, or other specialized industry licenses. We are planning to expand into these areas. However, subscribers receive custom coverage of all their licenses & permits, where feasible. Q. Do you cover licenses and permits in countries other than the U.S.? A. No. Q. Do I need to register in order to use your services? A. No. You can go right ahead and begin finding and filling out license applications without signing up. However, there are many benefits to registering.
A. Yes. You can attach cover sheets, worksheets, or other documents. Even if these documents are in paper form, you can scan them and then attach them. If you are a subscriber you can also archive your own documents. Q. Do you offer a due-date calendar and scheduling? A. A due-date calendar and other renewal management features are being added to the system and will become available later in 2006. Q. Are your forms accepted by licensing authorities? A. 99.9% of the time they are. In the event that they are not, or where you need to apply in person, the system will inform you of the limitation. Q. What happens if I lose my connection while I'm in the middle of filling out a form or before I am able to file, save, or print? A. Registered users’ forms are automatically saved for 30 days. Unregistered users’ forms are saved for a shorter duration. If you lose your connection before completing a form, you will be able to open it again free of charge and complete it. If you are a registered user or subscriber, you will see all your incomplete forms on your dashboard. If you are an unregistered user, you will receive an e-mail with an order number, allowing you to re-open the incomplete form. Q. Can I save a draft of a form before completing it and come back to it later? Q. What do you do when the licensing authority only accepts printed applications? A. We work with licensing authorities to assist them in accepting electronically submitted applications. Where that is not feasible, we send a printed version of your application. Q. How do you send license & permit applications, if it's not accepted electronically? A. The user chooses the shipping mode. Standard U.S. Mail is included at no extra charge. Users can choose to have their applications sent via overnight carrier, for an additional charge. If an overnight carrier is chosen, we provide you with a tracking number that enables you to track whether your application has arrived to the licensing authority or if it is still in transit. Q. Whose name appears on the checks that are sent along with applications? A. The name of the applicant, with our name underneath as c/o. The applicant decides how their name should appear. A. We offer the most stringent security available today to handle both customer communications and customer data. We use SSL-128 encryption, public key/private key encryption, https, and account code encryption, with further offline storing of important data. We also use the best levels of backup and live redundancy to insure the security of your data. A. Our site is always up. We are only a single node removed from the Internet backbone. Q.
